When you give to Clara's House, or Clara's Second Stage, your gift joins with many others to create a significant financial resource that will foster positive and fundamental social change to homelessness and battered women and their children throughout Chicago and beyond.

Whether you can give $25,00, $250.00, $2,500.00 or $25,000, you are an important partner in our efforts toward social and economic change.

Following are some options in which you can contribute:

  1. Come to our Annual Benefit and bring a friend. Lookout for upcoming events.

  2. Honor Someone Special. Honor someone special with a gift in their name. This is also a means of remembering and continuing on that person's commitment to homelessness and batterred women and their children.

  3. Transfer Stock or Real Estate Property. Avoid capital gains taxes while receiving a tax-deduction.

  4. Co-Host a House Party. Help us spred the word and widen our support base by introducing your friends, and colleagues to Clara's House.

  5. Make a Request. Make a request by leaving part of your estate to Clara's House or designating Clara's House as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.

  6. Establish a Charitable Trust. Certain trust options may reduce your taxes noe or in the feature while benefiting Clara's House.

  7. Include Clara's House in your will trust or estate plan.

  8. Make a gift of appreciation stock.
  9. Volunteer at Clara's House.
